ok, I have like zero time to write, but I wanted to let y’all know that I’m here, I’m alive, and I think the Orient is hilarious. The people are so sweet, and they think we Americans are celebrities of some sort. I’m Justin Timberlake. That’s about all the time I’ve got honestly. sorry dudes. Thanks for checking this site. pre-trip update 2.0
Well I haven’t written in a while mainly because not a whole lot has changed: I’m still in the states, still haven’t gone to base camp, and I still have the same lifting requests stated below. I have been able to think about various aspects of this trip more lately than I could when finals were going on (praise Pops that they’re over!!), and I’m getting more and more excited about this trip everday. I still don’t feel like it has sunk in yet that I’m actually going to be going, and doing, all the things that will be done. Gonna be tight. So in closing, this post, though not very informative, is at least a change of scenery on the site for a while. I go to base camp May 21st. Until then.

I found out minutes ago that I have raised all the money I need for the trip! Pappy is so rad! Thanks so much to those of you who’ve been talking to him for me! Thanks also to those of you who have left comments! As awesome as they are to get now, before I’ve left for the trip, the comments will be so much more encouraging while I’m actually in China. You people are obviously 30 times cooler than you think you are. That comes out to twice as cool as I think you are. The stuff y’all are saying to Pop’s really can and does change what happens, for His fame! This dude James wrote me a letter regarding that, long ago, it was in the fifth chapter of his letter (he wrote kinda long letters). Alright… I love you humans, and if you think I’m lying… don’t.

Well I sent out this website’s address, so I figure I’ll take advantage of it (assuming anyone even looks at it). Here are some things you can be talking to Pappy about for me, followed by some comments:
- that Pops will continue to provide financially for my trip (He’s so good)
- that Pops will keep preparing my body, mind, and inmost being for the trip
- for amazing unity for our team from the moment we meet (May 21st)
- that Pappy will be preparing hearts of the Chinese we will come in contact with… for transformation!
- awareness of and protection from the Enemy’s attacks: the warfare is and will continue to be thick

a test and some flavor
I’m still trying to master this whole website thing. Most of it isn’t very difficult, but leave it to me to make things harder than they ought to be. I think this site will be everyone’s source for keeping up with D.O. as he travels the ins and outs (really just the ins) of China. Hopefully I’ll be able to update it at least weekly while I’m over there, and you guys will be able to talk to Pappy on my behalf, which I appriciate a ton. I guess there’s no turning back on the website now, since we’ve got two posts, it seems the ball is rolling.

this is clearly new to me, and I went ahead and didn’t choose a template to make my page display attractive, so this is what we’ve got… unless I can figure out how to change it…
edit: 15 minutes later, the page is more appealing to the eye, and nobody ever knew it wasn’t.
