This week a show came through town that my friend Scott convinced me to attend based on his rave review of one of the band’s (The Low Anthem’s) live shows. The Low Anthem was indeed able to come through on Scott’s boasts with a strong showing at the Granada this past Wednesday night.

Blind Pilot headlined the show, and their performance was a treat as well. Perhaps the most enjoyable part was watching their fellow-red-bearded bass player, Luke Ydstie getting after it on the upright.

Great music, great venue, great company… it was a good Wednesday night in Dallas.
