Best Weekend in February 2010

Each year the Roommates and some of our friends from college get together outside of Alto, TX for a time that’s come to be known as the Best Weekend in February (after all, it is always in February). The annual escape from our day-to-day lives in the city provides an outlet for us to catch up and do manly things: shoot guns, throw knives, drink drinks, wrestle, and eat meat. This post is arguably a bit heavy on the images, so I’ll not write much more other than to tell you that the photos below do not do the weekend justice, and that yes, that is a dog’s shock collar Logan is holding to his neck.

Oh my gosh! (Said in my trademarked voice…) So much fun! I forgot how much I love you guys until I saw those pictures…and what’s up with Colby and Mikey’s faces in that last picture?? (Wait, why am I even asking such a question!) Great pics, D.O. Miss you guys, for real!
I second Claire! Those pics are awesome DO and I miss you guys a lot! You’re missing some of the clan however. What’s up with that?

I was thinking, “Man, that’s like the manliest man’s weekend ever!” Until I saw the picture sequence of one dude jumping into another’s lap. Really cool pictures.
